Many of them had invested neither millions nor hundreds of thousands of dollars, but since one bitcoin was initially worth less than 1 dollar to it was worth more than 19,000 dollars, a very small investment could become a huge fortune. In 2017, bitcoin fell with a bang and the air was blown off the balloon. But today the market has stabilized and bitcoins have risen by over 300% after its fall, which has made it interesting for investors again. Bitcoin stands f.ex. for 70% of all cryptocurrencies in the world which nevertheless shows how much value they still have on the market.
