Iracing is now available on Steam. A very important step for this great simulator, since its biggest competitors, Assetto Corsa and Project Cars, were already offering their services through Valve’s digital distribution platform.
Iracing has been putting on the batteries since Assetto Corsa and Project CARS have stomped into the world of simulation, and like them, it has got the green light to be sold through the Steam platform. The price will be € 36.99 as a down payment, automatically renewing every 6 months for € 50.99. Like the two aforementioned titles, Iracing is compatible with the Oculus Rift DK2.
But let’s talk a little about this excellent simulator. Both for its physics, and for its perfect modeling of the circuits (all of them scanned by laser), you will be able to live sensations that you will hardly reach with any other driving simulator. In addition, it offers you the possibility of making your virtual pilot career through a whole series system (championships with unique or multiclass cars) that will make sure that whenever you race you are participating in a championship that you can follow through a perfectly structured website full of statistics and results. You will start from the bottom, with the Rookie level, and as you do good races, you will be able to move up in your IRC (License Level), which will enable you to participate with more powerful cars and be able to move up in category.
And the good thing is that it adapts to you, since it allows you to run at any time with any car. But not only that, since the online Iracing system makes you always run surrounded by people of your own level when many pilots sign up for the same race, since several different starting grids are created, taking into account the license level of each pilot.
It has the best online simulation system in the world, with thousands of users, statistics, races at all hours, official championships and by communities, live broadcasts, prizes, etc… Discover a new dimension in the driving simulation, either through Steam or through the Iracing Website.
