Urban Wolf Games has confirmed that its physics-based cooperative dungeon scanner Legendary Tales will appear in early Access for PC VR this week.
Legendary Tales will be released on SteamVR on September 9. Below is a new trailer for the game, which looks promising. Legendary Tales is inspired by games such as Diablo and Dark Souls, and challenges players to make their way through the dungeon, fighting off enemies with swords and magic attacks.
The action of the game is based on physics, which means that you can expect a combat system similar to games such as Blade & Sorcery and The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners.
However, unlike these games, Legendary Tales promises a cooperative game for up to four players. It will definitely be interesting to see where Urban Wolf can concentrate the gameplay with this element.
The early access version of the game is said to include most of the aspects that will be in the final game, but the developer hopes to add more types of enemies and weapons, as well as new dungeon themes and boss battles. The studio hopes that the full version of the game will be available in early 2022, although there is no information about possible versions for other VR headsets yet.
You can find Legendary Tales on Steam here. The game provides support for Oculus, HTC, Valve and Windows headsets.
