The integrated headset accessory for PSVR will arrive as an official product in new territories, including Europe.
Bionic has announced that Mantis VR, your accessory adding headphones to PSVR, is now officially licensed to PlayStation for distribution in Europe and other regions. The device consists of two pieces that are attached one to each side of the headband of the Sony viewfinder, thus achieving the integrated sound without the need to use external helmets or other internal ones such as those that carries PSVR series. The release of PSVR revision 2 made the task of sound a lot easier, but this addition allows us to have a similar experience to that of other PC viewers with integrated headphones, such as Rift, Vive (with Deluxe Audio Strap or with the Pro version) and Samsung Odyssey.
“The Mantis was designed from the outset to complement and enhance the extraordinary PSVR experience as a natural extension of the viewfinder. We are delighted to partner with SIEE for the official license of the launch of Mantis, and look forward to serving our customers in the SIEE region who have been excited about the debut of Mantis. This kit will include everything you need for a personalized, integrated and immersive sound, ” he says Mr. Liuhuabing, SVP of Product Development of Bionik.
Mantis VR can be easily coupled and uncoupled, and includes the cable for connection to the visor, in addition to the possibility of using an option that covers our entire ear as if it were helmets.
In the next tweet we have the two options that includes:
