Galaxy Golf becomes Moonshot Galaxy, adding new content and announcing its arrival on Sony’s virtual reality platform.
Big Fish Games prepare the version of PlayStation VR from his last title Moonshot Galaxy, formerly known as Galaxy Golf. Moonshot Galaxy is a space golf game, designed for Move controllers, in which we will have to get the ball to the corresponding hole and in the fewest strokes, but in environments composed of small planets that we can rotate to plan the perfect shot and overcome the different obstacles that we find.
The development of the game is in charge of Liftoff Labs, an internal studio of Big Fish, which with Moonshot Galaxy have tried to create an accessible and easy-to-use experience, taking advantage of the advantages offered by virtual reality, such as depth perception, to take advantage of them in the gameplay of the title. Since its launch on PC, in August last year, the developers have been releasing improvements based on community suggestions, such as the Pro mode that offers more action for those looking for new trophies.
Initially it arrived with the name of Galaxy Golf to Rift, Vive, Gear VR and Cardboard, but the company has taken the opportunity, with the announcement of the launch on PSVR, to rename it Moonshot Galaxy, and announce that this name change will also bring new content, free for owners of the game. Moonshot Galaxy will arrive first on PSVR in the United States and is expected to be available soon after in Europe.
