Move your programs to new computer
Here is a guide on how to easily and simply move your installed programs from the old computer to the new one. Usually when you buy new pc, all programs must be installed anew and of course it requires that you have all CDs, DVDs on which the software is located. If you do not have it, then many think, I’ll just move it manually. One can not, only with few programs it is possible, but you can not, for example, do it with the Office package, Adobe, etc.
So you want to ask, Does it also move the license to the Office suite with?
The answer to that is, maybe yes-since it’s not entirely safe, I think you should see this article as I’ve previously written: backup your Windows or Office license it describes how you can backup your license code to the Office suite. Regarding license files for other programs, it is always a good idea to find it before, just in case.
Download the program here: PickMeApp (it requires you to register, otherwise it is free)
1. After installing PickMeApp, you can see all the installed programs on your pc on the left side. Now you can select any program and then click ”capture” control button. This will create a copy of the program so that you can restore it on another computer. It may take some time to ”capture“the programs, of course, it depends on the file size of the programs.
2. Now you need to start PickMeApp on the computer you want to move your programs to. Remember to bring the file that PickMeApp has created, it contains the programs that you selected earlier.
PickMeApp is not backward compatible, that is, you can not can move programs from Windows 7 to Windows XP, but well the other way, etc. Also, you cannot move from a 32 bit system to a 64 bit system, etc.
