The studio is working on two titles designed for virtual reality arcade machines. A version of his title Shooty Fruity and a balloon flight experience.
The English company Nedreams, responsible for titles such as The Assembly, received last year a substantial injection of capital, which they have been dedicating, with the creation of a new development division, to bring their experiences to the arcade market. In a recent statement, he announces that he is transforming two of his titles to be experienced in VR arcade machines.
Arcade VR experiences are becoming more popular, now is the perfect time to unveil what we’ve been working on,” said Patrick O’luanaigh, CEO of nDreams. “We will continue to develop titles for PC and console viewers, in addition to our recent involvement with Oculus Quest, but the content for live experiences has been a clear vertical for us, which will reinforce our position as a developer and distributor in top-tier VR.”
First, a version for arcades of Shooting Fruity, which places us as supermarket cashiers during a mutant fruit invasion, would be in development with the support of North American multimedia entertainment centers VR Junkies and Ctrl V. In addition to an experience that would use an improved version of the Perfect map, which will offer a different point of view by putting players at the controls of a hot air balloon, called Perfect Flight, for what they prepare a recreational cabin with a basket recreation, which will include 4D effects.
Shooty Fruity is available on the Oculus store, Steam and Viveport for € 19.99. But Perfect Flight, at the moment, will not have release for PC or consoles.
