The mobile version of EA’s well-known title implements Apple’s AR technology in a latest update that will allow us to place plots of the game in the physical world.
In a new feature that incorporates the latest update “Ideal Garden”, we will be able to experience The Sims Freeplay like never before, exploring with freedom of movement the gaming space in a new mode in augmented reality. In it we can select a surface around us with the camera of our mobile, where we can start building a house for our characters. This physical space will be stored and we can access our game by visiting it, although we can relocate it whenever we want.
At the moment it does not incorporate character progression functions. But the possibility of visualizing our simulated home from this perspective is something quite striking, considering that it is a free application. This feature is only compatible with devices iOS 12 that support technology ARKit 2.
