The downside is that you have to connect your headset to the PC if you want to watch a movie. This can be done with the USB cable that comes with the headset.
But this cable is certainly not long enough to be comfortable. So chances are you’ll end up buying a USB-C cable if your computer has it available. If not, look for a USB-C to USB-A cable.
Oculus offers official cables but, as has already been said, they are very expensive. However, you can buy a cheaper normal cable anywhere.
To connect to your PC you need to install the Oculus App out here. Find the Oculus Link settings.
Once you’ve installed it, simply connect the USB cable to your headset and PC and you’ll be guided through a single installation. Just follow the instructions on the screen.
From now on, you can go to your PC’s VR porn folder and use Oculus TV’s default movie player to watch your movies directly from your PC’s hard drive.
