Monday, September 22, North Bank of Sberbank of Russia announced an open competition for selection of system integrator for failover “core” corporate network
data (corporative network).
According to the concept of a financial institution participating company must, among other things, to have the status of Cisco (Gold Certified Partner, Customer Satisfaction Excelelence) and have a specialization Cisco
(Advanced Routing and Switching, Advanced Security, Advanced Unified Communications).
Currently the Bank has a telecommunications infrastructure, covering two objects. In the course of the project the contractor is going to spend its modernization and to expand the network to a new object. And
each object should be mounted in the switch core, the switch of data processing center (DPC), switches the open segment and the routers WAN-channels. The control system closed and
the open segment must be installed on one of the old objects, but have a full duplication (redundancy) in the new. (More detailed information can be found on

Competition the Bank is going to conduct in two stages. The first one is the qualification and involves the selection of three candidates.
Applications for participation in the first stage the Bank takes up to 6 October. A week later it is planned to sum up this part of trading.
