OCS added to its portfolio of products Elo
OCS Distribiton and Elo company announced the beginning of cooperation. Channel distributor proposal will include touch screens and monitors from 10 to 70-inch touch all-in-ones,
touch kiosks, terminals of electronic queue, the accompanying software and additional equipment in the form of consumables, spare parts and accessories.
Elo is at the origin of the invention of a touchscreen. Its founder, Professor of physics at the University of Kentucky, Samuel Hurst in 1971, the elograph invented the tablet, which operates on four-wire
resistive principle. A few years later, the elograph
became transparent, and a little later received a five-wire screen. In the early 80-ies of the team Hirst presented at the world fair of their first TV with a touch screen.
