Do you have an Oculus Quest virtual reality glasses? You are in luck, because a series of news will arrive with the Oculus v28 update. Go taking note because some are important and long requested by the community.
First of all we have to Oculus Quest 2 will be able to run PC VR games wirelessly. Since 2019, Oculus Link has been a feature that allowed the Rift content library to be played on Quest with a compatible cable.
However, with the arrival of Air Link, these functions will be able to continue to be performed without the need for cables and via WiFi connection. It is currently in the experimental phase for Quest 2 and will be available shortly.
More improvements. Through Infinite Office, they will be added two functions integrated into Oculus Home, in order to make VR work more productive and flexible.
It will be possible to pair the Logitech K830 keyboard with Quest 2 and thus see a 3D representation of your own hands and the keyboard within the VR vision. It also adds the 120Hz support in Quest 2 to guarantee ultra-smooth games.
In this way, developers can already start submitting applications to the Oculus Store that run at these rates natively, while Quest users can choose to select the 120Hz option. This can be done through a switch on the Experimental panel to test such applications.
