Just like last year, Oculus is once again holding its own event in the month of September in which virtual reality developers eager to know more about the Oculus platform and its future plans will gather.
On September 23, 24 and 25, the second edition of Connect will be held at the Loews Hollywood Hotel (California), which will feature talks by Brendan Iribe, John Carmack and Michael Abrash. Last year there were more than 1000 attendees who attended the public presentation of Crescent Bay, the prototype on which Oculus has relied for the commercial version of the Rift. It seems quite likely that by the end of September you can already see units of the CV1, if we do not see them before in the call that Oculus has made for the press on June 11 or at E3 itself. There is no doubt that, as we approach the last months of the year, the temperature and the hype from which we expect the commercial landing of virtual reality will continue to grow exponentially.
The application to attend the event can be filled out within a few weeks on the Oculus Connect website.
