Outside of Oculus, no one knows for sure if it will be this year when the Rift’s commercial launch takes place, but in any case Oculus wants to start preparing the necessary logistics for it as soon as possible.
This follows from the list of job offers in Oculus, in which we see that it is asking for jobs as a Manager of Global Supply Chain Planning, Manager of Global Procurement, Logistics Program Manager, Manager of Asia Hardware Manufacturing Quality, Consumer Health & Safety Manager or Customer Service Fulfillment Analyst. In total, according to Huffington Post, 54 jobs, many related to logistics and distribution worldwide. Is the launch of the CV1 already on the horizon? We don’t think it will happen before the last quarter of this year, but many of us would be satisfied with an official confirmation of the date, something that would make sense to do during some big event like the GDC that will be held in March or, more likely, the June E3 in Los Angeles. Bets are accepted.
