The good news continues for the many simulation lovers, and that is that there will soon be native support for Oculus Rift DK2 in Flight Simulator X, which until now was playable with Vireio and OpenTrack.
The support does not come from Microsoft, but thanks to a mod called FlyInside FSX, that goes beyond the basic support for Oculus Rift (render 3D + headtracking), offering all kinds of helpful features, like the ability to use maps, checklists, or even a web browser inside the virtual cockpit. Its creator is requesting betatesters at the moment, so those interested can sign up on his website.
