If you are sitting in a “cubicle”, at an office or at home in your own workroom, it is important to have a perfect working environment. If the sitting position irritates the back or the computer is too slow, it can damage the efficiency and quality of the work. A lot of work at such a workstation with computer m.m. performed best by concentration, comfort and technological quality. Many mistakes in the environment can destroy these aforementioned things – but some additions can also improve the environment-and thus improve the work. It simply requires that you make an assessment of your current situation and what can possibly be changed and improved.
What can I improve?
Some aspects are hard than others to improve, and some aspects bring greater improvement than others. However, it is subjective which aspects you pay the most attention to should be top notch. Here are some suggestions for changes you can make:
– Have an optimal sitting experience. Your chair should preferably be of top quality – both for your work-and your back’s sake. If you sit on a poorly produced office chair from 1980, your back will probably not feel well after several months or years. The ergonomics should be in the high seat-back-shaped, adjustable height and armrests, reclining, etc.
– Printer that can actually print. Many jobs at the computer also require a printer as an assistant, but many (especially cheaper printers) take eons to print and often bring hassle and time-consuming troubleshooting. Acquire a printer that has performed well in a printer test.
– A computer that works to perfection. Possibly the most important part of your setup – without it the work can not be done. The computer should like to have at least: Intel i5, dual core 2.4 GHz, 250GB hard drive, 20 inch screen, Windows 8, 8GB ram and USB connector.
– Assorted. To give the working environment, you can optionally add: plants / a little greenery, trinkets or fidget objects such as Newton’s cradle.
