If you want to convert a live event into a virtual event, a few more steps are also required:
To create a new online event, set the venue from “Basic Information” to “Online Event”. After that, you will get access to the “Digital Links” page in the dashboard. Deactivate the PDF tickets and update the order confirmation with specific details for the participants (such as important times or links to preparation materials). Visit the help center for a step-by-step guide of an online event.
We recommend that you send your participants an e-mail via Eventbrite. With this, you can let them know that you will be hosting your event online and what they can expect from your virtual event.
NOTE: If you change the venue from live to online, Eventbrite will not automatically send the link of the webinar or the livestream to your participants. You can insert the link in your email to the participants or send it at a later time.
If you want to showcase your location or your artist, a video streaming service like Vimeo or Facebook Live is probably the best choice.
If the participation of the participants is more in the foreground, we recommend Zoom.
