Photo album on your own website
If you want a photo album on your website that is easy to set up and look incredibly nice, here is a guide to how this is done. The program is called Flash Gallery and is based on flash (as the name also says), it makes it look really nice when you change pictures, etc. This gallery requires your web space/website to support PHP, otherwise it will not work. You can go to your provider’s website, i.e. where your website is located, and see if your web space supports PHP.
1. Start downloading the program here: Flash Gallery
2. The program lies in a packed file, which must be unpacked. If you don’t know how to do this, see this guide here: how to unzip a packed file
3. Once you have unzipped the file, go into the folder, and then into the subfolder “img”
4. Here you should put Nye pictures in that you want to be able to see in your new picture gallery.
5. Now you need to upload your folder “flashgallery“to the root of your web space. That is, it should be where your other files are located, index.html, etc.
6. Now you’re done, and we need to check if it works. Try the link below.
