Sony has announced that PlayStation 4 version 4.5 beta is now available for users who are part of the testing program.
New developments are coming for PlayStation VR with the upcoming PlayStation 4 system software update. Release 4.5 beta it adds new functionalities for users, among which it is worth highlighting the possibility of connecting an external USB 3.0 hard drive of up to 8TB to be able to store more games or applications that will be fully accessible from the console’s home, and the playback of discs Blu-ray 3D for viewing with PSVR.
PlayStation VR already has a wide range of applications to view multimedia content such as the recent YouTube update that added the possibility of playing 3D video in 360º, and now we can watch stereoscopic Blu-ray content. The release of this new system update will arrive in the coming weeks for all users.
