PSS improved the quality of design in JSC “Sibgiproshaht”| 09.08.2011

Autodesk products and organized the business under the pilot project and conducted a comprehensive training of customer’s personnel.
One of the key activities of the design Institute of JSC “Sibgiproshaht” is the designing of mining and processing complexes of the coal industry. In particular,
“Sibgiproshaht” projects were implemented coal complex “Ignalina”, “listvyanskiy”, “barzas” section of Mohair (India), etc.
The transition to the widespread use of 3D technology began with a pilot project to create a 3D model of concentrating factory of mine “barzas” in 2010. In the course of the project, models have been developed
main building, warehouse, commercial products, bunker breed (with a capacity of 180 tons), warehouse magnetite, the building overload and transport conveyor gallery. It was also designed unit, pump
station, boiler house, sewage treatment plant and water intake. The project was implemented within the framework of the already established multi-year partnership “of Sibgiproshaht” and engineering consulting company PSS.
The project team was tasked with evaluation of the prospects of using 3D technology to enhance the competitiveness of the customer company on the market. Create 3D models in
“Sibgiproshaht” is implemented on the basis of Autodesk software. On the basis of software complex Autodesk Inventor carried out the design of processing plants and technology
installations.
One of the next stages of development of the tools of 3D-modeling is the use of Civil 3D in the Department of public works. In its framework was designed cut “Kharanorsky” and section
“Munaisky”. Projects are also interesting for the fact that the consultations carried out remotely: virtual bridge between Petersburg and Novosibirsk was built using the technology of Webex.
The overall results of the project were an increase in the quality of construction work as the most costly part of the project and improve the accuracy of the performed construction works. Also, the technology Department has mastered
powerful tool of 3D modeling of equipment and the design of technological objects. According to experts of the Department of public works, after the use of 3D technology
productivity increased by 30 %.
The software complex AutoCAD Civil 3D used for designing master plan and open pit mining. In the future we plan to use Autodesk Navisworks to create 3D conceptual models
GOK.
Cooperation of JSC “Sibgiproshaht” and MSS will continue. The next step will be merging into a single information environment models construction and technological departments. This will effectively
use of 3D data throughout the life cycle of the design.
