One of the most striking mechanics of motion controllers, archery, comes to life again in QuiVr, a cooperative game in which we will have to defend ourselves from enemy attack.
The game is already available on Steam and we can download a demo if we want to try it out beforehand. The Blueteak development team claims that the physics of the shot is one of the most advanced available, since it has been designed and modeled according to real physics. QuiVr has a drop-in / drop-out cooperative mode, so we can leave and enter the games together with our friends without having to restart them, which makes the experience more fluid. Instead of the full player model, we will see a floating avatar with the body and the bow, something we are already getting used to in virtual reality.
At the moment it is available in early access mode, so it is to be expected that the game will grow over the next few weeks. In addition, it has a 20% discount until January 2 and stays at € 15.99. We will be able to enjoy QuiVr with HTC Vive and Oculus Rift + Touch.
