Sector3 and SimBin are working to support HTC Vive (and in theory Oculus Rift) using the SteamVR API, and the update could reach gamers before the end of the year.
Every day it seems clearer that it is very difficult to conceive a simulation title without virtual reality support, especially in those games aimed at the most demanding simracers: titles such as iRacing, Live for Speed, Project CARS or Assetto Corsa among others allow using these devices, and soon it could be the turn of RaceRoom, which already introduced support for the Oculus DK2 at the end of 2014. It has been during the last developer stream when the developers have shown an internal build of the game working on HTC Vive, also indicating that that version could be made public in December.
The base game RaceRoom Experience can be downloaded for free on Steam, so we can enjoy 5 vehicles and 2 circuits, being able to expand our collection through additional DLCs.
