Through a press release, Renault presented a new family SUV – Symbioz. This name, derived from the French term “symbiose” and the ancient Greek “symbiosis”, reflects the idea of coexistence, a value rooted in Renault’s philosophy of creating vehicles that completely satisfy the idea of “cars for living”. In addition, the brand stressed that the name is easily understandable in several languages, which makes it accessible to a wide audience.

Symbioz is presented as Renault’s most compact hybrid in its C-segment range, with a length of 4.4 meters. Its interior design is focused on providing everything a family needs, offering ample space and carrying capacity. In addition, it incorporates cutting-edge technology, such as the new-generation Solarbay panoramic roof, which turns opaque at the push of a button, and the 145 hp full hybrid E-Tech engine, which guarantees greater driving enjoyment and lower fuel consumption due to its weight of less than 1,500 kg.
Finally, Renault mentioned its commitment to meeting the diverse needs of its customers, both private and business, by offering a range of vehicles that perfectly complement each other in the European C-segment, including electric and hybrid models. These include the award-winning 100% electric Megane E-Tech and the new 100% electric Scenic E-Tech, as well as the newly launched Austral E-Tech full hybrid and the Arkana E-Tech full hybrid, which combines a distinctive SUV design with the styling of a coupe.
The Renault Symbioz SUV will be officially presented this spring 2024.
