The VRkiwi game in which we became a miner today receives its first paid content that expands the experience.
After the launch of Cave Digger in May as a free-to-play game, VRKiwi Entertainment today it releases Riches, the first paid DLC (€19.90) of the mining title. This new content adds the following features: 6 new endings (some will require exploiting our creativity to reach them), Chaos Gauntlet to crush the rocks with our hands, tool belt for better organization, Lava underground map, new mining tools and improvements for them and competitive mode with ten levels and leaderboards.
“Some people have commented that we should have put a price on the base game. We could have, but instead we wanted to offer VR gamers a free way to test if they like this type of game and so decide whether to buy extra content. We think it’s right that way. We have many ideas for additional content in our development roadmap. We look forward to continuing what we started at Cave Digger,” says Jani Kaipainen, CEO of VRKiwi.
The Finnish studio has announced that they are also working on the PSVR version of their game, although so far they have not shared when this release will occur.
Cave Digger is currently available on Steam, as is the Riches DLC that will be unlocked in the next few hours. We will also be able to acquire the DLC with a special version with more content, such as the soundtrack of the game.
