We have been publishing the results of the Steam hardware and software survey for some time, as well as the estimates of different analysts and the official data of the companies that share them, but what happens in our community: are they successful or are there surprises? In order to answer this and other questions, last month we launched the possibility to add to your profile those viewers that you have in possession. Therefore, from now on we will be sharing the statistics with all of you. If you have not yet added your viewers to your account, do not hesitate and do it now through this link.
Just as Rift has positioned itself as the most popular Steam viewer, we find that in Real or Virtual the same thing happens, and it achieves it with great ease with respect to PSVR, which is the second most users have. The arrival of Go, the first Oculus standalone, has also been noted in recent months, becoming the third device on the table, although it is closely followed by HTC’s Vive viewer. If we group the Windows MR viewers we get a total percentage of 9.36%, being just behind HTC Vive.
