What will the near future look like? ‘Artificial Expo’, a fair about Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Virtual Reality that takes place in Madrid on 7 and 8 November, will show us what the house, the classroom or the store of the future will be like.
We live surrounded by new devices that have revolutionized human life in all areas. Technological innovation has caused a change in habits in the way we relate to our daily lives.
Cars capable of driving themselves, smart and sustainable cities, Machine Learning that makes all kinds of predictions such as whether your startup will succeed or not; new wearable devices capable of measuring our data… We have never before witnessed a technological revolution as before.
In this context, it will take place in Madrid ‘Artificial Expo’, the only Artificial Intelligence fair in Europe to be held during the 7th and 8th of November in the capital. During this period of time you can attend congresses, exhibitions, presentations, masterclasses and workshops, among other activities, in relation to new technologies. In addition, it will have the special participation of Japan and China, emerging countries in robotic innovation.

Evolution and total transformation
In this 3rd edition you can see how robots help us in household tasks and how smart mirrors are transformed into information and control points of the entire home. We shall see the connected’ House of the Future’ through the Internet of Things (IoT), where we can cook with 3D printers and manufacture furniture in a personalized way.
While, in the’ Store of the Future ‘ we will discover what the new robotic assistants and retail chains to better serve customers, as well as the creation of custom products with 3D printing, through robotic shopping carts. All this to better understand the needs of the consumer.
On the other hand, it will be possible to observe the computerized school classrooms that will have assistant robots of the teachers, equipped with Virtual Reality equipment, so that children can travel and understand what teaching was like in the past. They will be able to model and print prototypes in 3D and know the new ones interactive whiteboards.
In addition, through activities based on Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, attendees will experience sensations such as flying or diving and make a multitude of novel experiences in different fields of technological innovation.
Knowing the new technologies, losing their fear and knowing how we can take advantage of the competitive advantages they bring us is, in short, essential to face the future that awaits us. We need to open our eyes to the advances of Artificial Intelligence.
