One of the best games available for Oculus Rift, despite its many flaws in virtual reality, is Alien: Isolation, which has just received the third DLC that expands the survival mode a little more. Safe Haven will once again test our temperance against the xenomorph.
In Safe Haven we will be able to play in the role of Hughes, the communications director of the Sevastopol station, which is located in the only safe zone of it. But unfortunately the supplies are running out and he will have no choice but to momentarily leave his small fortress to get hold of various objects and fulfill certain tasks. The map size of this DLC is more than double that of the previous ones, and we will have to carry out missions of increasing difficulty. Each challenge can be played in the scenario we choose: Gemini Exoplanet Solutions or the Bacchus apartments, which can offer us a few hours of fun… or suffering, depending on how you look at it. We will have to play all the missions at once, if we die we will have to start again, unless we have bought the possibility of recording a game, which will be discounted from our final score.
Like the base game and the previous DLCs, Safe Haven works perfectly on the Oculus Rift DK2 if we have followed the necessary steps to activate it in Alien: Isolation. This DLC costs €7.99 and is included in the season pass. The last two DLCs will arrive in February and March.
