Good news for all those who are waiting like May water for Samsung’s Gear VR. It seems that the international launch of the Innovators Edition of this long-awaited device is imminent and could arrive this month.
During CES, Oculus commented that they were working with Samsung to speed up the international launch as much as possible, and now Road to VR has obtained direct confirmation of that information. In fact, the launch would take place at the end of the month, maybe even earlier, so we could be talking about a couple of weeks of waiting, although it is still unclear which countries will be the first (rumors point to the Netherlands).
On the other hand, the jump to Android 5 “Lollipop” of the Galaxy Note 4 will also affect the developers of Gear VR, who will have to update their applications when this new version of Android arrives on the terminal.
