Today is World Sleep Day, so it is important to pay attention to what we do most in our lives. That’s why Samsung published a reminder of how its devices take care of such an important activity.
Through a statement, Samsung commented on solutions that it offers to its users to improve the quality of sleep, which are becoming quite popular. The company reported that 50% of Galaxy Watch users monitor their sleep patterns at least once a week, and 40% do it more than three times a week.
For starters, Galaxy Watch’s bioactive sensor monitors your unique sleep patterns – whether you’re awake, when you achieve deep sleep, and your blood oxygen level – and presents the results to you the next morning in the Samsung Health app in an easy-to-use and easy-to-understand format. Keeping track of data is important to identify areas for improvement.
On the other hand, there’s the Sleep Coaching feature, which uses a month-long personalized program that tracks your sleep pattern for seven days and then assigns one of the eight animals in the sleep symbol to represent it. Then, Sleep Coaching “puts you on the path to establishing healthy habits and routines to help you achieve a good night’s sleep more consistently.” In addition, it tracks your daily activities and then provides tips and guidance to manage them better, from exercise and nutrition, to mindfulness and health management.
Samsung also highlighted the importance of creating an appropriate sleeping environment, and presented some of the solutions offered by the Galaxy Watch, such as the possibility of reducing distractions from your cell phone, controlling smart home devices with SmartThings and automatically closing the bedroom blinds or turning off the lights and air conditioning.
The company concluded that it is committed to improving its sleep-centric solutions and will continue to collaborate with industry leaders to offer intuitive and understandable information to help everyone achieve their wellness goals.
