The first of them in the category of best virtual reality game and the second in the category of best PC game.
The 36th edition of the awards Golden Joystick, which have a total of 24 categories, has awarded Skyrim VR recognition to “Best virtual reality game“. Bethesda’s adaptation of the popular open-world title was released last year for PSVR, later (in April 2018) making the jump to PC with support for all viewers (Rift, Vive and Windows MR). Doom VFR (also from Bethesda) came in second and WipEout Omega Collection (Epos Game Studios) in third.
On the other hand, Subnautica (Unknown Worlds), which has VR support for Rift and Vive, won the award for “Best PC game“, ahead of Kingdom Come: Deliverance (Warhorse Studios) and Warhammer: Vermintide 2 (Fatshark). Those responsible for Subnautica also collected the award for”Greatest Progress”.
Last year, Capcom’s Resident Evil 7 won the best VR game category.
