To promote the premiere of the new adventure of the franchise, they have created a musical title for arcades.
On the occasion of the launch in cinemas of the new installment of Hotel Transilvania, Sony Pictures Virtual Reality has partnered with Specular Theory to create a musical game from the movie he uses an accessory called Popstic, in order to emulate a cane. Hotel Transylvania Popsticwhich is only available for arcades (through Steam, Viveport Arcade and other distributors such as SpringboardVR), you can also play with two motion controllers, but they recommend doing so with the two-hand accessory, to which a Vive controller is attached to give it positioning.
Aimed at all ages and skill levels, we will select a character from the movie to play DJ and one of the available songs (inspired by his personality), and then start the game. As in other titles of the genre, obstacles and elements will come towards us to hit; the first will have to dodge them and the second blue or orange, we will have to hit them with the end of the same color of our cane, thus achieving points that will help us climb the leaderboards.
At the moment it is not available for home use. Specular Theory plans to use the accessory in other titles.
