In this broth, floats the prediction of IDC, which estimates a 44% increase in AI systems spend in 2019, compared to the previous year. This means that the figure will reach $ 35.8 billion, according to calculations by the analyst firm.

As for IDC’s prediction, it doesn’t stop here. And it will do so at an increasing rate, according to the analyst’s estimates. Spending on AI systems will more than double in three years. By 2022, the figure will reach 79,200 million dollars. The annual growth rate would have been 38%.
There are other predictions that support the growing trend of Artificial Intelligence. A study by the consulting firm Statista indicated that the market value of AI in 2025 would be 36.8 billion dollars. The large difference in numbers could be explained by the methodology used in each work. But the growth rate in both cases is impressive.
Where the expense will be made
IDC points out that spending on AI systems will be led by the retail industry. Trading companies will invest $ 5.9 billion in 2019. They will do this mostly in solutions such as automated customer service agents, product recommendations and purchasing advice.
The banking sector will follow in investment. Will be 5,600 million dollars. Your destination will be AI – based solutions for cyber threat detection and prevention, or fraud analysis systems.
