A few months ago, Elon Musk promised that Tesla was looking at the possibility of implementing Steam compatibility in its Tesla vehicles, with the aim of allowing people to play their favorite computer titles, now anywhere on the road.
A few hours ago, Tesla announced the Christmas software update for its most equipped electric cars (Model X and Model S), which includes several advantages such as activating the camera to see your dog when you leave him inside the vehicle, or the possibility of synchronizing a light show between several cars at the same time. However, the most interesting thing is finally the arrival of Steam Beta, which means that users of these models can, theoretically, play from their car any Steam game that is compatible with the Steam Deck.
Even works with keyboard & mouse

At the moment there are more than 6000 games compatible with Steam Deck, which means that a user with Tesla Model X or Model S already has at his disposal a larger library than he will ever be able to finish. Of course, the application comes with Bluetooth compatibility for controls and even for mouse and keyboard. But there is more! Elon Musk also confirmed that Steam@Tesla is compatible with Steam Cloud, which means that users can use their profile to download or upload their most recent saved games, and thus keep them synchronized between all their devices.
None yet, but I did play some Cyberpunk and it works great. Syncs with your Steam profile, so you can pick up where you left off at home.

Although it is unlikely that a driver will start playing Cyberpunk 2077 or ELDEN RING while driving, this is a new possibility that opens the doors to entertainment for passengers, especially if we are talking about long commutes.
