The creators of Natural Selection are working on Subnautica, an underwater adventure already available in early access and that has support for Oculus Rift DK2, although at the moment in a rather preliminary state, everything has to be said.
At the moment the game can be purchased in early access on Steam or on the game’s website, where we can purchase a somewhat more expensive special edition. The support for Oculus Rift is taken with tweezers, but if someone wants to venture to try it they have to run the Subnautica_DirectToRift_RunThisInstead file.bat in the game folder. The typical Unity resolution and detail selection box will appear, click on Play and that’s it. The F2 key is used to center the Rift within the game.
Apparently in the trailer and in the screenshots, it seems that the game has a pretty good graphic quality, although as we have commented before, it is already known that in early access we can find all kinds of surprises, so the decision to buy it now or wait for the launch depends on each one. We are going to take a look at it and we will tell you our impressions as soon as we try it.
