The studio that created Raw Data has revealed that it has secured two rounds of financing totaling $50M with investors such as the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) company.
In Survios may be very happy for the success that we had throughout this first year of virtual reality trade, as their game Raw Data became the first of this medium to raise a million dollars in just over a month, and now the us company has managed to get two rounds of financing that put them in a favorable position to achieve his goal of becoming a leader in the editing and creation of virtual reality content at a time of controversy about the exclusive games and economic aid to fund them.
The rounds have been led by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Lux Capital. The Survios team has stated that they will continue working on Raw Data, since it is an early access game. Among the company’s plans are also to add third-party titles and expand distribution to more countries. Survios was founded in 2013 and one of its first projects was the Zombies on the Holodeck technology demo that we could enjoy together with our DK1 and Razer Hydra.
