Temporary profile Windows 7
If you have problems with your user in Windows 7 continuing to sign in with a temporary profile, the solution might be here. I got the error with temporary user profile when I deleted a user manually and not via Windows user accounts. To solve the problem, make sure that you have a copy of your user’s data, i.e. what is on the Desktop, Documents, favorites, pictures, etc.
1. Start writing “regedit“in the search menu, then right-click “regedit“and choose to”Run as administrator”
2. When “regedit“is started you need to find this path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftware Microsoft Windows NTCurrentVersionProfileList
In the photo below you can see what emerges. On the left side you can see that I have 2 profiles installed, these are the ones with the long name. The 3 that are above are system profiles, you should not touch them. I have selected a user named “IT-Artikler.dk“, it is my user who does not work anymore. Get to delete it, delete the folder on the left side. Then the problem with temporary profiles should be solved.
