The survival horror game in development by Honor Code since 2014, is now finished and can be purchased for € 19.99 with compatibility for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and OSVR.

Honor Code has announced the launch of Narcosis, a survival horror game in the dark depths of the Pacific that is now available on Steam. The story turns us into an industrial diver who after a catastrophe will have to do whatever it takes to get afloat before his oxygen and mental health run out. The title was conceived as an academic project, but Honor Code after years of development with its first game, has managed to bring it to fruition. “It has been a long journey full of challenges, but we are proud of what we have achieved and we hope that you will find this story of survival exciting, stimulating and surprising,” commented Honor Code.

Narcosis in a story with stressful situations in which oxygen consumption will accelerate, distorting our vision, sound, space and time. To survive in the deep sea we will have items such as knives, flashlights and flares. The title will make use of our most primal fears, isolating us on a survival journey in which unexplained events will occur. Some of the Honor Code developers have participated in titles such as Assassin’s Creed, Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill, among others.

Narcosis is now available on Steam for € 19.99 with compatibility with Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and OSVR, but according to the characteristics it does not have support for motion controllers and is played with gamepad and seated. The title also has a traditional screen version, so it will also come to Xbox One.
