As you could see in the trailer, The Cabinet of Curiosities is a live-action anthology that includes supernatural horror elements, but uses analogous special effects – instead of green screens – to carry them out.
This anthology is a collection of sinister stories that is narrated by some of the most prestigious creators of the horror genre of the moment, such as the directors of Babadook, Splice: Mortal Experiment, Mandy and many more.
“With The Cabinet of Curiosities, what I’m trying to convey is that the world is beautiful and horrible at the same time,” the director explained. The show will premiere on October 25, exclusively on Netflix.
