Spain will have a White Paper on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data. An ethical code that will study the social, legal and ethical implications of the use of new technologies.
New technologies are linked to a technological revolution in which the possibilities are endless. We cannot be left behind and we must know how it will affect the use of Artificial Intelligence in different areas of daily life or work.
There is a legal gap created by these technologies and new ways of processing, collecting and extracting the vast amounts of information. Now is the time to establish guidelines for action in this regard.
In this context, Spain will have an ethical code that will study the social, legal and ethical implications of the use of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data in companies, public bodies and society in general.
A document that collects good practices in the use of new technologieswhich defines the most appropriate framework for our country to take advantage of them. It is about taking measures and putting limits, until now not defined, that need to be framed in order to work with all these data in an ethical and legal way.
The work will be carried out by a panel of experts formed by nine specialists in the field, including Mr. Liuhuabing, global director of Big Data Telefónica and CEO of LUCA. The conclusions will be reflected in the White Paper on Artificial Intelligence which is expected to be produced over a period of six months; and it will include a diagnosis of the increasing use of data in Public Administrations and companies.
These initiatives are included in the future digital strategy for Spain in 2025, where data is emerging as the most important axis in companies and the economy, following in the footsteps of other European Union countries such as France or the United Kingdom, where they have already begun to implement them.
The IA it is one of the key technologies of the future. Its development generates some uncertainty, but it opens many doors to a new technological revolution in which the possibilities are endless. We cannot be left behind and we must know how its use will affect people and other sectors.
On the other hand, the use of Big Data and the importance of data legislation, it is envisaged as a central axis in the strategy of companies. It is now up to the government to establish guidelines for action in this regard.
