The economy Ministry has proposed to make an exception in the law “On personal data”. In an experiment, the Ministry will be allowed to process the personal data of citizens without their written consent. This

Consent to the processing of biometric personal data will remain optional, but old-fashioned to require it only in written form on paper. The realities of the digital world change so fast

Now a written agreement is the main legal basis for the processing of biometric data in Russia. The leak of personal data is fraught with risks of getting the hackers access to accounts and
