This first version shows us the interaction with the catalog using the HTC Vive motion controllers, thanks to which we can extract the movies as if from a VHS box, being able to turn them over to read the synopsis, and throw them against the screen to start playback. Although the resolution of virtual reality viewers is still a very important limiting factor in order to enjoy high definition content, it is a matter of time before this is a common way to consume this type of content, and Plex joins the bandwagon of other products such as Netflix or Hulu by introducing its virtual reality client. This Plex VR client does not yet have a release date, and at the moment it has been developed under SteamVR, although its creators claim that they probably also give native support to Oculus Touch.
