This has been confirmed by the executive producer of the series to Variety magazine, although he has not shared more details about it.

The news came at the VRTL Summit held yesterday in Los Angeles, but Alpert has only indicated that they have started working on the project, refusing to share more details. Jon Goldman, from Skybound, and Alpert took to the VRTL stage to talk about some of the virtual reality experiences that the company has carried out, including Gone, one of the first available for Gear VR, or the new horror series, Lies Within, which they are also preparing for virtual reality.

Alpert commented on his work together with Samsung for the creation of Gone, at which time the Gear VR software was still being developed. “The process of working with Samsung was amazing.”
