Lenovo has announced that Filippo Di Giovanni (Giovanni Di Filippo) has joined Lenovo’s Data Center Group (DCG). He has served as President of DCG Lenovo in Europe, Middle East and Africa
(EMEA). Di Filippo will be to build relationships with partners and customers data centers and to develop business Lenovo DCG in EMEA.
Previously, Giovanni transformed the sales processes in international technology companies worth several billion dollars. He was Vice President of EMEA channels,
sales and strategic alliances at Riverbed Technology. Prior to that, he held the position of Vice-President of departments, Global Channel & Sales SAP.
After he became CEO in Central and Eastern Europe and the Gulf region at Cisco, Giovanni also entrusted with the work in the regions of CEE, CIS and the Middle East. In the area
responsibility Giovanni was working in 42 countries with a total turnover of 3 billion U.S. dollars. Before joining Cisco, he was involved in management at Sun Microsystems and Compaq Computers and achieved sales growth
in the international markets.
Di Filippo has worked with several European start-UPS, advising them in the field of sustainable development and helped to create international sales.
Giovanni lives in Zurich, Switzerland. He has a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in various disciplines: banking, business administration, sales and marketing, as well as several diplomas
in the field of management and business development.
