Just before the GDC starts, Epic Games announces that its Unreal Engine 4 engine will be free to create free projects, fantastic news for all those who want to experiment and make their first pins or for veteran developers not to worry about payments until publishing their application.
So, to download Unreal Engine 4 we just have to register on the web and proceed to its download. From here, if we are going to create free technological demos or any other project for which we do not charge anything (advertising does not count), we will be able to have Unreal Engine 4 in full. If we are going to create a project that gives us some remuneration, we will have to pay 5% of the income of our project in each quarter in which we exceed $ 3,000 of income.
