A couple of days ago, a demo of Unreal Engine 4 has been circulating titled Unreal Paris, which recreates an apartment inspired by the French capital. The demo amazes everyone with its incredible photorealism, and now a simple modification allows us to enjoy it on our DK2.
We can download the demo at this link, and the necessary files to modify it here. We must run the demo in normal mode at least once so that the necessary configuration files are generated in the corresponding folder. Then we go to that folder that is located in C:Users (name)AppDataLocal Paris_AppartmentSavedConfigWindowsNoEditor.
Next, we will have to unzip the DK2Paris file.zip and copy the contents of one of the Low, Medium or Insane folders in the path indicated above overwriting the existing files, depending on the level of detail at which we want to execute it. It is highly recommended to use the Low or Medium folder, since the performance loss in 3D stereo mode is considerable. If we want to make adjustments to the graphic quality, we can edit the GameUserSettings file.ini and change the parameters in the section [ScalabilityGroups]. We can also take a look at the content of the scalability.ini.
It seems that it works only in extended mode, you have more information and comments from those who have tried it in this Reddit thread.
