The new EVE: Valkyrie update will be available on April 11, adding a new map, new cooperative modes and more.
CCP Games has announced at the EVE FanFest the arrival of the new free update Groundrush of EVE: Valkyrie, which will be available next April 11 for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and PlayStation VR. Groundrush includes the new Solitude map that represents a radical change, moving the battlefield from open space to the surface of a planet. This new scenario offers new opportunities and dangers for pilots to adapt their combat techniques and take advantage of the new environment to their advantage. The cooperative mode will be expanded to include the Control and Carrier Assault modes, adding AI against which we will face together with our human companions. These modes will also give us experience and rewards.
The update will add animations for our avatars, so now we can celebrate a victory or complain about a defeat through the gestures of our character. The game will also incorporate English subtitles, improvements to the Valkyrie League Alpha and training modules, and the correction of different bugs. On Tuesday, April 11, it will arrive on all platforms.
