The Japanese startup already has a model ready that would offer up to 5 different smells simultaneously through refillable cartridges.

A year ago we published that VR VR it had received over half a million in funding to develop its odour emitter. Today the Japanese company announces its developer kit that allows you to smell virtual experiences. It is an accessory of 125 grams that attaches to the visor just above our nose, through velcro strips and connecting to the computer through USB or Bluetooth, making it compatible with most visors on the market.

Five refillable cartridges at the bottom of the device are responsible for storing the aromas that engines Unreal Engine 4, Unity or Cryogenics they could be activated in greater or lesser intensity to offer an unprecedented presence, which would have to be previously selected, according to the application, from a range of 15 perfumes which include: ocean, gunpowder, forest, wood, earth, coffee, candy, chocolate, curry, fried chicken, mint, woman, gasoline, flowers or zombies; in addition to offering information of the status of the device such as the battery level or the quality of the connection through your APIs.

VAQSO VR is available to developers through its official website for $ 999 and aroma refills for $ 70 a bottle, which they estimate would last a month each.
