Accessories compatible with Steam VR tracking 2.0 are now available independently.
The online shop of Live in the United States has recently added in the part of accessories the possibility of acquiring independently the Vive Pro motion controllers, an option that serves us to replace units or have a spare. In the European store it is already listed, although it does not yet appear the purchase option or the price it will have. The controller, which is identified as the 2018 version, costs $ 199 per unit and includes SteamVR tracking 2.0 compatible sensors (they also work with 1.0 base stations). As for the rest of the features, they are the same as the standard Vive controllers, except for the color blue.
Not yet available in accessories are the base stations 2.0, which come standard with the complete package of Vive Pro, although Alvin Wang Graylin (GM of HTC China) has shared via Twitter that they will be “soon” on sale.
Vive Pro hit the market on April 5th with the viewfinder-only pack for € 879, and later released the full pack with accessories compatible with Steam VR 2.0 for € 1,399.
