The HTC wireless adapter, which opened the pre-purchase at the beginning of the month, will suffer a delay of 2 weeks in shipments.
HTC has announced that Vive Wireless, your wireless adapter for Vive and Vive Pro, will not be shipped next September 24, as originally planned. The new delivery date for those who have already made the pre-purchase or make it from now on is the 8 october. The reason is apparently due to a delay in the supply of the product, which will result in a delay of just 2 weeks.
“European orders for the Vive Wireless adapter will start shipping from 8 October. We understand that it is a little later than expected due to a delay in our incoming shipments.”
Vive Wireless has a cost of 345€, although if we have Vive Pro, we also have to add the accessory that will allow us to place it on the top of the viewfinder, a piece that has a cost of 75€. As for its characteristics, the wireless adapter weighs 125 grams, offers an autonomy of more than 2 hours and a half and can be combined with two more users in the same room (up to 6 x 6 meters).
