In addition to Oculus viewer support, HTC has announced that Ready Player One: OASIS beta will receive a paid upgrade.
Shop Viveport already has more than 200 titles with Oculus Rift viewer support, as shared HTC. Coinciding with this move, the Viveport subscription service has received three new additions to its catalog: the Apex Construct shooter and episodes 1 and 2 of The Gallery.
“With the Viveport subscription, Oculus Rift owners can avoid two of the most discussed problems in VR: testing new content and pricing,” says Rikard Steiber, president of Viveport. “By choosing five titles a month from the Viveport Subscription library, consumers can discover great VR content while saving hundreds of dollars. We have just started supporting Oculus Rift owners and look forward to adding content to the Viveport line.”
Vive Studios he has also shared news about Ready Player One: OASIS beta, which will receive a major update this month, adding the ability to customize our characters with the Avatar Creator and enjoy new levels for Battle for the OASIS, Smash, Fracture and Gauntlet, which will add more than 15 hours of gameplay. To enjoy all these contents, we’ll have to buy the game for $ 19.99, or select it with our Viveport subscription.
To celebrate Rift’s inclusion in Viveport, HTC offers gift sets for those who subscribe to some of the available multi-month packages:
- 3 Months (22,99€): We received Shooty Fruity.
- 6 Months (45,99€): We received Everest VR and Shooty Fruity.
- 12 Months (89,99€): We received Final Soccer VR, Guns’n’Stories: Bulletproof VR, Everest VR and Shooty Fruity.
